"Last morning..." is how my eldest, Elise, described anything in the past. Now, she's starting kindergarten and has no use for this phrase! I want to remember this, along with all of our stories, so I'm putting it here on Last Morning's Adventures. I hope you can either relate or get a laugh. :)

Honey

Goulasch and mashed potatoes
Love for all things European
Speaking German with us
Pinching our cheeks
Amazingly warm hugs
Grooming us
Teaching us etiquette
Spoiling us on our birthdays
Seating assignments with all of the tall, dark, handsome men near her
Sharing her clothes with us
Eating off our plates
Mischievous look afterwards
Consuming laughter
Helping her daughters raise their children
Always being there for us
Cheering us up during crises
Lighting candles for us
Making us feel special no matter what

With all of the memories made during 65 years of marriage, Tie's favorite memory of Honey is still the first time that he met her.
