"Last morning..." is how my eldest, Elise, described anything in the past. Now, she's starting kindergarten and has no use for this phrase! I want to remember this, along with all of our stories, so I'm putting it here on Last Morning's Adventures. I hope you can either relate or get a laugh. :)

Strong, Athletic, Beautiful

Way back when, we played this game---not that kind of game!! Geez... Anywho, you should try it:

1. Write down your favorite animal. 2. Name 3 characteristics of the animal.

Then, mine was [1. Horse 2. Strong, Athletic, Beautiful].

The characteristics you list are supposed to represent how you view yourself. Strong, athletic and beautiful---"Spot on!" is what I thought *then*!…now, it’s probably more like [1. Dog 2. Cute, silly, loyal]. Amazing what mothering children does to your ego (and your dreams).

But, there is something I love about horses. They have a calm presence that is so soothing…evidently, my love has been passed down to my girls!

Gigi hit it spot on when she gave Elise riding lessons for her birthday this year! {She *may* have had a little help from a little birdie. Maybe.} Magic (the horse) is like magic for Elise’s personality! She is so attentive, responds on cue, has a positive attitude, and is just magical…at least while she’s riding! ;)

She’s doing really well with her actual riding too. So cute! Watch the video:
